A Bright Lukman penalty in the second half ensured that Ebusua Dwarfs maintained their hopes of a top-four finish in the Glo Premier League.
Dwarfs defeated Tema Youth 1-0 at the Robert Mensah Stadium on Sunday and sit in fourth position on the log.
The win leaves Dwarfs five points adrift the top with three games to conclude the season.
Lukman scored from the spot in the 65th minute after a Dwarfs player was fouled in the Tema Youth box. Tema Youth, caught up in the relegation zone, have a slim chance of escaping the drop.
In other games, Amidaus Professionals derailed AshantiGold's top-four ambitions, defeating the Miners 1-0 at the Tema Stadium.
Nana Yaw Afriyie scored the match winner to guarantee the elite debutants, their place in the league for next season.
At the Carl Riendorf Park, Liberty Professionals piled the pressure on Heart of Lions with a 3-1 defeat, a loss which pushes the Kpando side closer to the relegation zone.
Kennedy Ashia and Selorm Geraldo were both on target for Liberty.
In Wa, Hearts of Oak and WA All Stars shared the spoils in their played out goalless draw.
And in the final game, King Faisal lost to New Edubiase at the Gyamfi Park.
