30 years ago Yannick Noah won Roland Garros.
On the occasion of this anniversary, the Franco-Cameroonian returned to the evolution of tennis in an interview with Metro. Former Davis Cup captain took advantage of this interview to talk about the new generation of French tennis :
“I am the last French to win Roland. But look at my face, just my mouth when I won, and look at the guys face today. And tell me if you see a difference. I see one. If you talk about victory, the strenght that allows you to win, I no longer see. Just look at Henri Leconte at the time : he is motivated, ready to do everything to win. Now, they win games, that they should win, but do not cross the small step which allows to go further. “
