Solomon Kofi Ogbordjor, is making waves in Thailand with Phitsanulok FC and set for a call-up to the senior national team, the Black Stars.

Before joining the exodus bandwagon three seasons ago, the 24-year-old former Bechem United midfielder was a key part of the Bechem side that qualified for the premiership.

Solomon Kofi, as he is affectionately called by his fans, also featured for the 2009 Black Satellites team that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt. Following his impressive outings with his club in Thailand, the youngster hopes Coach Kwasi Appiah will give him the opportunity to play for his country.

“I am playing so well and I have a lot to offer my country. Given the chance, I will let Ghanaians see what I can also do to help the team,” the well-built versatile midfielder assured.

The midfield dynamo, who adds scoring to his midfield duties, is currently enjoying his third season in the Thailand league after stints with two other clubs.
