Alhaji Karim Grunsah's Kumasi based King Faisal have made a swift return to the Premier League after winning the replay of their play-off against Sekondi Hasaacas 2-0 last Friday August 31.

Chief Executive Officer of Despite Group of Companies, Osei Kwame Despite; Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and Board Member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and business executive, Alhaji Abu Lamin have all contributed their quota to the Kumasi-based club by ensuring that in terms of monetary factor the King Faisal lads were motivated.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Life Patron of Asante Kotoko has promised the new Premier League entrants a whooping Gh₵30,000 as a reward and motivation for Alhaji Grunsah's team, while board member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and City rivals Alhaji Abu Lamin has also donated an amount of Gh₵10,000 to the team.

Businessman Osei Kwame Despite, owner of PEACE FM, OKAY FM, HELLO FM, UTV Ghana and PEACEFMONLINE.COM among other businesses has also donated an amount of Gh₵4,000 to the Kumasi based club as a reward and motivation for the lads.

Alhaji Karim Grunsah thanked them all on behalf of the club, especially Osei Kwame Despite for being the first person to motivate the club to pave way for the others before their qualification back to the Premiership this season.

He told Peace Power Sports in an interview that Osei Kwame Despite was the first to give them free motivation.

He also thanked Mr. Kwabena Kesse of KESSBEN for his support as well during the qualification campaign.

Also, he thanked all who have contributed to the promotion of King Faisal and promised that the Kumasi-based club has come to stay and Ghanaians should watch out for total quality football.

It was honours even at the Tema Stadium on Wednesday in the final Zone II fixture in the Division One League promotion campaign as both sides drew 0-0 to finish 7 points apiece after three rounds of matches.

Both teams were back at the same grounds two days after to decide who qualified to the Premier League.

And it was two goals in either half by Samuel Adade and Prince Boateng that ensured Faisal's return to the elite division, just a season after being relegated from the Premier League.

The Kumasi-based side, Faisal, thus join Real Tamale United and Amidaus Professionals to pick their places in next season's Premier League.
