Akaminko starts for Ghana against Lesotho

Kwesi Appiah has named Jerry Akaminko in his starting team as Ghana face Lesotho in the opening Group D fixture for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying in Kumasi on Friday.

The defender makes his Black Stars debut in central defence alongside John Boye for this evenings match at 17:00 GMT (5:00PM local time) at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Sulley Muntari captains the team while Jordan Ayew and Dominic Adiyiah lead the line for Ghana.
