Berekum Chelsea will await the draw for the mini-league CAF Champions League knowing that the group stage includes five previous champions.
The Ghanaian side making their debut, qualified to the group phase on Sunday after winning 2-1 against Coton Sport.
However, their first shot at the competition will now face tough opposition from five previous winners of the African competition - holders Esperance, Al Ahly, TP Mazembe, Etoile du Sahel and Zamalek.
On Monday, Al Ahly, former champions, completed the list of qualified teams for the next stage after beating Mali's Stade Malien at home.
The qualified teams are Ghana's side, Berekum Chelsea, TP Mazembe (DR Congo), AS Chlef (Algeria), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia), Esperance (Tunisia), Sunshine Stars (Nigeria) and Zamalek (Egypt).
The competition takes almost two months off before returning with six group matches and then a two-legged semi-final and final.
