Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah has arrived in the United Arab Emirates to hold talks with striker Asamoah Gyan.
Appiah arrived in the UAE on Monday night to visit the Al Ain striker and check on his progress in the Middle East country.
He will talk with Gyan over his decision to temporarily retire from the Black Stars.
Gyan took an indefinite leave from the Black Stars in February after the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
The visit is Appiah's first official foreign trip since taking over the Black Stars some few weeks ago.
He will continue his visit to some European countries later this week.
