Al-Ain are confident of securing Asamoah Gyan on a permanent deal from Sunderland when his season-long loan deal expires in June.
Gyan, is on loan with the United Arab Emirates club from English side Sunderland.
However, the UAE side want to take on the Ghanaian permanently.
Al Ain Chief Executive, Carlo Nohra says he's "very confident" Gyan will stay.
"There is a loan agreement that we need to work out with Sunderland, but what is really important is that the player wants to be here and we would like to keep him."
Gyan has been influential for the side since joining them on loan last September.
His 16 goals in 15 matches helped Al Ain to clinch a tenth Etisalat Pro League title last Friday with three matches to remaining.
