Three goals- one in the first half and two after recess- saw Berekum Chelsea cruising past their Liberian counterparts, Liberia Ship Corporate Registry (LISCR) FC at the Golden City Park yesterday.

They have thus qualified for the next stage of the CAF Champions League on a 5-0 aggregate, and will cross swords with Raja Casablanca of Morocco on March 23 in Ghana.

With a foot firmly planted in the next stage, they began on a slow note, allowing the visitors to have their own way but failed in their attempt to open the scoring.

Chelsea changed the game's tempo a few minutes to the end of the first department, and one of their onslaughts resulted in the opening goal through midfielder Jordan Opoku who struck past goalkeeper F. Kamara on the half-time minute mark.

In-form skipper Abdul Basit set striker Emmanuel Clottey up to score a brace within 19 minutes in the second half. The three goals notwithstanding, the Ghanaians probed the visitors' rear further but  missed in their attempts.

Chelsea won the first leg 2-0 in Monrovia a fortnight ago, making the reverse leg a mere formality.

Despite the emphatic win, Chelsea coach Hans Verder Plum expressed dissatisfaction about his side's performance saying, 'There were a lot of lose marking, they could have done better, but we will work on that before our next game.'

Reacting to how ready his side is ahead of their game against the Moroccans, he said, 'Names don't play football I always tell them. Who thought Zambia could win the Nations Cup? It's about determination and if every player plays his role we will sail through.'
