Kumasi, July 12, - GNA-Seventeen educational institutions in Ashanti region have expressed their readiness to participate in a volleyball gala to usher in this year's regional volleyball league. The competition, which will take place at Prempeh College on July 12 is being organised by the National Sports Council (NSC) in conjunction with the Regional Volleyball Association.
The participating teams are Nurses Training College, Kumasi Girls, Saint Louis, Saint Monica's Opoku Ware Girls Vocational School and Mmofraturo.
The rest are Prempeh College, Kumasi Technical Institute, Ejura Club, Kumasi High School, Opoku Ware, T.I. Ahmadiyya, Osei Kyeretwie, Osei Tutu, Effiduase and Armed Forces secondary schools.
