New Edubiase ended Asante Kotoko's 8-game unbeaten run in the Glo Premier League on Wednesday as they grabbed a hard-fought 1-0 victory.
Emmanuel Baffour's deflected 33rd-minute goal shattered Kotoko's impressive start to the campaign as the Edubiase striker took his tally to 9 goals.
Kotoko had midfielder Michael Akuffo sent off in the 75th minute.
The defeat could see the Porcupine Warriors surrender top spot with rivals, Hearts of Oak still to wrap up their game in Accra.
Kotoko, are however tied on 18 points Berekum Chelsea as the champions could only draw at Cape Coast.
