Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan fired two goals for Al Ain to seal a 2-1 triumph over Dubai SC in the UAE League on Saturday night.
The attacking predator showed that he had not lost any of his shine when he led his side to an impressive away victory
Gyan broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when he stole in from behind to fire his side into the lead.
The Ghana international claimed his second four minutes later when he rose highest to powerfully head home.
And although Nabil Al Daoudi pulled a goal back in the 33rd minute, Al Ain held on for the victory.
The striker joined Al Ain in a record loan deal from English side Sunderland and he looks to be repaying the faith his new club have shown in him.
Gyan is among the players in the hunt for the 2011 African Player of the Year award after finishing second last year.
