
Accra, June 16, GNA – Attoh Quarshie Gym's Samuel Yaw Addo will defend his Africa Golden Gloves Warrior (AGGW) Bantamweight title against Abdul-Waheed Omar on Friday June 17 at the Prisons Canteen, Cantonment, Accra.
Addo will be making his first defence against the relatively unknown Omar of Lotto Gold Gym in his bid to hold on to his title.
The bout tops the bill for the event sanctioned by the AGGW and promoted by Dade Boxing Promotions Syndicate.
In other bouts, Musa Rahman Lawson of the Wisdom Gym will face Moses Dodzi of Lotto Gold Gym in a Lightweight contest whilst Reformers' Anani Kutsoke dares Ismaila Tetteh of Wisdom Gym in a Light Welterweight contest.
Fit Square Gym's Mathias Sulley will battle it out against Wilson Mawutor of Bukom Gym whilst colleague Samuel Offei slugs it out with Dan Amarteifio of Attoh Quarshie Gym both in the Light welterweight division.
