Sunyani, (B/A) Jan. 6, GNA - A special friendly football match by two Premier League sides, B.A. Stars and visiting Wa All Stars at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Wednesday ended in a barren draw.
The technical handlers of B.A. Stars, however, said the match enabled them to test the might of their players, especially the newly-recruited ones ahead of the resumption of the second round of the Premier League.
The newly registered players that B.A. Stars paraded for the match included goalkeeper James Nanor, one-time with Accra Hearts of Oak, Francis Akuafo, from Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Prince Atakora-Gyimah who was at Berekum Arsenals and later joined Kessben F/C.
The three players played to the satisfaction and got the hearts of the spectators but it was All Stars' Richard Akrofei, who displayed eye-pleasing skills and was the toast of most spectators after the match.
