Accra, Oct. 27, GNA - The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has donated assorted equipment to the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) towards the promotion of the sport in the country.
The equipment include six table tennis tables, six wheels for the tennis tables, six nets, 80 tennis rackets, nine score boards, eight gross balls and 20 T-shirts.
The equipment, donated by renowned equipment manufacturer Stag International of India through the world Table Tennis governing body, ITTF is geared towards the development of the sport across the country.
Gifty Horsu Fianu, Secretary General of the GTTA in a statement copied to GNA Sports said the equipment will be out-doored on Saturday, October 30 at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra at 13h00 GMT.
