Talents came to the fore as the Juvenile Football Festival ended over the weekend with Anokye Stars and Fire Babies emerging winners in the Under-15 and 12 age categories in the Upper West region.
Twenty-four juvenile teams from all the ten regions in the country competed in the 13th edition of the tournament that saw the Ghana Football Association spend GH¢200,000.00.
In the Under-15 category, Anokye Stars from the Ashanti Region defeated Upper West side, All Stars Babies to clinch the title.
Eastern Region's Great Wonders beat Future Stars from the Greater Region to seal third place.
New Under-12 champions Fire Babies did the host region as they lifted the trophy after beating Zinaps FC from the Greater Accra.
Great Eagles FC in the Northern Region placed third ahead of Krobo Youth FC, a side from the Eastern Region.
568 players lined up for the FA-sponsored competition as the festival handed talented young players the best possible opportunity to achieve their dream and become the stars of the future.
