The Edmund Owusu Ansah/Lee Addy-led Black Stars, after sending their Burkinabe counterparts parking in the CHAN (African Nations Championship) qualifier on Sunday, drove straight to the Tsing Tao Restaurant in Osu for a sumptuous dinner.
Chauffered in the Guinness branded bus, the team in the company of its officials and some officials of the FA were given a treat. They were inundated with all kinds of cuisine, from Chinese, local, continental, e.t.c.
The Director of Tsing Tao Restaurants, Mr. Stephen Adzokatse told The Chronicle Sports that its been his outfit's passion to host winning national teams, saying “We hosted the Black Queens when they qualified for the World Cup, we did the same for the Satellites when they won the World Cup and the list goes on.”
According to Mr. Adzokatse, the Stars' performance against Burkina Faso was not-too-impressive but Tsing Tao decided to host them to serve as a booster for the next January competition in Sudan.
The officials of the team thanked Tsing Tao for the treat and promised to work on the lapses that surfaced from now till the competition.
After the red-carpet treatment, the team left for its Hotel where they were granted permission to go back to their various clubs for the local league.
