Golfers gear up for Tema President's Putter

Tema, March 12, GNA — The Tema Country Golf Club President's Putter Championship is set to tee off at Tema Golf course on Saturday, March 13.

Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, General Manager of the Club told GNA Sports at Tema on Thursday that more than 100 amateur and professional golfers are expected to participate in the competition.

He said the competition which would be sponsored by Mr Kofi Yim, President of the Club would be played in accordance with the local rules of the Club.

Leonard Kweku Okyere, Captain of the Club would lead the Tema team which would include Paul Owusu-Baah, Alex Fiagomey, William Asiedu Yeboah, Larry Chinbuah, Felix Owusu-Adjapong and Ebenezer Tetteh Mensah.

Mike Aggrey, Wisdom Asempa, Mike Ben-George, Daniel List, Paul List and Chares Tabi are among players who would feature for the Achimota Golf Club.

Five prizes would be awarded in the Men's segment while three would be given out in the Ladies category.
