Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac says he will use many players from the country U20 World Cup winning team at the African Cup of Nations next month.
The Serbian manager will take his strongest squad to the tournament in Angola which starts on 10 January.
With many players competing for places in the Black Stars team for the tournament Rajevac says he will also give thew chance the young ones too.
Players like Michael Essien, John Mensah, John Paintsil as well as Sulley Muntari and Matthew Amoah are expected to play a key part in the tournament.
But the coach also wants to use the youngsters too as well to boost the squad ahead of the tournament.
"It will be a blend of youth and experience, comprising players who have been the national team's backbone over the years and those who shone in Ghana's under-20 World Cup triumph," Rajevac.
Despite the presence of several key players, Rajevac is worried about the fitness of injured captain Stephen Appiah and other players.
"We will miss injured captain Stephen Appiah and several other players face a race against time to be fit but we are still hoping to hit top form at the right time."
Ghana will play Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo in Group B of the African Cup of Nations.
