
Everpure Purified Drinking Water, on the 31st of October became the only purified water approved as the purest drinking water among athletes at this year's .
Its sole participation in the 2009, testified to this fact since there was no other water served to the athletes during the marathon.
Only 10 months in production, and there is no doubt that Everpure has positioned itself in the market with a standard that meets healthy lifestyle.
As part of its initiative to energize, revitalize and replenish the athletes, Strategic Communications Ltd, were present as the agency to see to the successful execution of Everpure's participation in its maiden edition of 2009.
The event saw Godwin Adukpo of the Customs Excise and Preventive Service retaining his title as the Accra champion in a dramatic fashion after fighting off a stiff challenge from veteran and event record holder, David Zigah.
Adukpo finished first to take home the winner's price of GH¢3,000 cash and a glittering silver cup plus products from Nestle Ghana Limited.
Zigah and Essuman took home GH¢2,000 and GH¢1,000 respectively plus Nestle products.
In the women's category, 27-year-old Millicent Boadi, of the Ghana National Fire Service, as usual won the race at 3:01:33 hours, followed by Gifty Abbey of Prisons Service at 3:17:46 hours and Elizabeth Batsor.
Both spectators and athletes were refreshed with chilled Everpure Drinking Water at the venue.
