Former chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Dr Nyaho Tamakloe wants the three Black Stars players who avoided the team's trip to Angola for an international friendly, expelled.

Tamakloe believes , Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan have exhibited gross indiscipline and must pay the price.

The trio were expected on board the team's chartered flight to Angola last Monday but avoided the trip without the permission of coach Milovan Rajevac.

"I will call on the FA to immediately dismiss the three boys from the national team. I believe strongly they will never put up such a behaviour in their respective clubs in Europe," Tamakloe told Joy Sports.

"No European footballer will behave the way they have done if they are called for a national assignment. They must be sacked now to save Ghana football.

"We have a lot of brightened men coming; give them the exposure and they might do better than the three boys."

He added that:"We have played in one of these qualifiers without Muntari and we never lost a game. What sort of life is this?"

Nyaho Tamakloe is famous for wielding the discipline axe at Hearts of Oak during his reign as chairman of the club in the late 1980s.

He sacked some indisciplined senior players and introduced young ones including dribbling wizard Mohammed Polo who blossomed at the club.

The Ghana Football Association says it will punish the three players if their investigations find them culpable.
