Ghana striker Razak Pimpong has scored the fastest goal in the Danish football this season.
The Viborg player scored on 17 seconds as they played out to a 2-2 draw with Kolding on Sunday night
Pimpong fended off a desperate tackle from a defender before unleashing a ferocious drive from 25 yards.
The goal gained rave reviews on Danish television and boosted Pimpong's hopes of returning to the national team.
The striker last week stated his ambition of returning to play for the Black Stars to play at the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola.
He was part of Ghana's team at the 2006 World Cup in Germany but has not been called up since 2007.
Pimpong's form could prompt coach Milovan Rajevac to monitor him as his the Black Stars attacking department has proved to be the sticking point for the team.
