NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
Black Satellites skipper Andre Dede Ayew has passed a late fitness test and he is ready to play through the pain barrier in a bid to help Ghana win the World Youth Championship for the time in three attempts.
Ayew is battling an ankle injury after being battered by Hungary goalkeeper Peter Galuscki as he set up the Satellites assist in their 3-2 semi-final win last Tuesday.
He trained on his own in Thursday's final training session and never kicked a ball but he remains optimistic he can recapture his match assertiveness.
Ayew told Ghanasoccernet:"Mentally I'm ok, physically I have some little problems due to the semi-final but the final is every important for the nation and the medical team have done their best."
"We won Africa and we want to do the double this time and we are prepared to fight to the end. My colleagues have promised to give all their best.
"We close to history and we can't let this opportunity slip through our hands," he added.
