Ghana's chances of claiming Inter Milan striker Mario Barwuah Balotelli looks brighter after he was left out of Azzurrini squad to compete for glory in this year's Fifa World Youth Championship which began on September 24.
Balotelli has threatened to denounce his Italian citizenship should Azzuri coach Marcelo Lippi fail to include him in his squad for next year's World Cup in South Africa.
The 19-year-old who has been the cornerstone of the Azzurrini attack but will not be part of the young Italians who are seeking to emulate the achievement of their seniors at this year's Championship.
Ghana is closely monitoring the situation to get Mario Barwuah on board.
