Matthew Amoah and Asamoah Gyan found target for their clubs ahead of Ghana's 2010 World Cup qualifier against Sudan.

The goals by both strikers would be a real boost for their confidence as Ghana seeks to win Sunday's game at home.

Amoah, 28, making his league return after suffering an ankle injury that kept him out of action for three weeks hit the second goal for NAC Breda in their 2-0 win 's over rivals Heerenveen in the Dutch top-flight.

The goal was Amoah's second in the league.
A late goal by Asamoah Gyan helped Rennes earn a share of the spoils against Lens.

Rennes were down 1-2 but Gyan on the 90th minute mark, scored the equaliser to end the game 2-2.

Both players would join their colleagues this week as the qualifiers resume with the game against Sudan at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra on September 6.
