HEARTS ARE STILL TOTTERING Hearts of Oak coach Nii Noi Thompson is counting on 'luck' to help them clinch their 20th league title despite going five matches without a win.
Hearts kept their two point lead at the top of the table after rivals Kotoko surrendered a two goal lead to draw 3-3 with Liberty Professionals in Accra.
Thompson is still winless since taking over from Serbian trainer Kosta Papic and Sunday's barren draw underlined the team's lethargic attacking options.
He is hoping divine intervention could prove the catalyst for a difficult season.
"The results today shows that we are destined to win the league title despite our performance. We played against Kessben but like you know sometimes the goals just refuse to come," Thompson told Ghanasocecrnet.com
"We will get our spot on and win the league. Am very positive about it and trust me the Phobia spirit will reign supreme."
Hearts have a tricky way duel against Berekum Arsenals this Sunday but will have to sort out Bechem Chelsea in midweek.
