Accra, July 5, GNA- Tickets for the Ghana 2009 African Hockey tournament will go on sale from Wednesday, July 8 at the National Hockey Stadium near the Tema Station in Accra.
Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Executive Officer of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) said the tickets will cost five (5) Ghana Cedis for the VIP section and One (1) Ghana cedis each for the popular stands.
He said each ticket purchased will permit spectators the opportunity of watching games played daily in the competition that spans July 10-18.
About two games are expected to be played daily. So far, the defending champions South Africa, has confirmed their participation.
Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria are among the participants expected in the biennial championship.
