NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.

Ghana's football team at this year's World University Games Belgrade, Serbia has been given a reprieve by the organisers following a strong intervention by national team coach Milovan Rajevac.

Team Ghana's participation was in doubt after delays in visa acquisition prevented them from playing hosts Serbia and Mexico in Group A.

Organiser had declared the West African losers in their opening two Group A matches which makes their qualification to the next stage impossible with only one match remaining.

But Ghana's Serbian coach who was keen on monitoring the players for possible places in the Black Stars or any other national teams confronted the organisers with evidence that the team did not get visas in time.

Organizers have now given in to the demands of the Ghana coach and the team's already missed group matches have been rearranged.

Ghana will play Britain on Saturday evening before the days of the remaining matches are determined, giving Rajevac to seethe university stars.

"We explained to the organizers of our difficulties and they realized it was no fault of our so they decided to admit as into the competition," head of Ghana's delegation Aloysius Denkabe told Ghanasoccernet.com

"Initially we felt our missed matches will be declared outstanding but this offer is more than what we expected."

The team arrived in Belgrade on Friday afternoon.
Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac who is currently on holidays in his home country is interested in watching the Ghanaian students play.
