Troubled Hearts of Oak's hanker to stretch their lead in their outstanding Glo premier league clash with visiting Wa All Stars failed to materialize when the visitors held them to a 1-1 drawn game at the Ohene Djan Stadium yesterday.
Determined to end their recent winless streak in the competition, Hearts fetched the opener through Douglas Nkrumah five minutes before the break. But the visitors came back from the break strong in attack, and in one of their surges, Gafaru Nasiru cancelled the lead in the 50th minute. Hearts tried in vain to restore their lead but the visitors denied them all goal scoring chances.
In the other outstanding clash, All Blacks also held Kessben FC to a 2-2 stalemate game at Abrankese.
