Barusso: Balotelli wont play for Ghana

BARUSSO IS PESSIMISTIC AS Roma midfielder Ahmed Ampimah Barusso has hinted that Inter Milan's young striking prospect Mario Balotelli is not harbouring the idea of playing for Ghana.

The Ghana Football Association after several failed attempts have re-stated their desire to convince the 19-year-old forward but Barusso says that would not yield any dividend.

Balotelli has stated umpteenth times on his decision to play for Italy but the GFA are not giving up the chase.

Some Europe-born youngsters opted to play for Ghana and it is believed that Balotelli will soon join.

But Barusso believes the Inter Milan player will be an exception.

"Mario I think will not play for Ghana because he has already made his mind about Italy and he is not going to change it," Barusso claims.

"He was invited with me at the same time to come and play for Ghana against Senegal but he refused and after I have talked to him personally but it yielded no fruit.

"We should rather think about our available players and play that none of them get injured so that we can move on as a national team."

Barusso has had an unsuccessful loan spell at Siena and he poised to make a return to giants AS Roma.
