The General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club, Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye has called on the workers of the club to unite and bury their differences and work together towards the development of the club.
Mr Oteng-Aboagye said unity and discipline play important roles in all aspects of life and therefore there was the need for to embrace such virtues.
The General Manager made the call at an of End-of-Year party organised for workers of the Club in Accra on Thursday.
A number of dedicated workers some of whom had served the Club for many years rewarded for selfless services.
The Longest Serving Employee award went to Mr Douglas Bukari, a Bar Manager of the Club who has served the Club for more than 30 years.
Mr Aziz Tahiru, a Maintenance Supervisor was awarded for been the Best Worker, Mr Raphael Nyanu, a Purchasing Officer received an award for been the Most Punctual Staff while the Most Utility Staff award went to Mr Samuel Quarcoo, Assistant Purchasing Officer.
Mr Oteng-Aboagye advised the workers to change their attitude to work and ensure that they put up better performance by cutting cost and improving effectiveness as well as efficiency.
The party was co-sponsored by Unilever Ghana Limited, Somotex Ghana Limited and The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited.
