Ghana and host nation Ivory Coast received plum draws in the draw for the first edition of the African Nations Championship.
The Black Stars have been pooled alongside Zimbabwe, DR Congo and Libya in Group B while the Ivorians head up Group A that also contains Zambia, Senegal and Tanzania.
The tournament, which was designed to give African nations the opportunity to expose local-based players to international football, kicks off on February 22.
A host of big names such as Cameroon, Nigeria, Morocco and South Africa failed to qualify for the finals which leaves Ghana and the hosts as the tournament favourites. Source: football365
