Voltic, Coca Cola supports SWAG Awards

Voltic Ghana Limited producers of bottled water and Coca Cola Ghana Limited have donated products towards the organisation of the 33rd Edition of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) annual awards night.

Voltic Ghana Limited on Wednesday, December 17, donated 33 cartons of bottled water to the Association as part of their contributions to the event and sports development in the country.

Similarly, Coca Cola Ghana Limited donated 20 crates of minerals towards the organisation of the event.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, at the Round Pavilion, State House at 6:00pm.

In all, 18 sports men and women would be honoured by the Association for their contributions on the local and international sporting scene.

Among the list of award winners for the night are, Sports Personality Of the Year - Joseph Agbeko, Footballer Of The Year - Laryea Kingston, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Team Of the Year – National Paralympic Team and Coach Of the Year –Armstrong Aidoo, Promising Player Of the Year – Ransford Osei, Discovery Of the Year Musa Narry, Special Meritorious Award - Attah Eddie Pappoe, Female Athlete Of the Year – Ajara Mohamed, Dedication and Valour - John Ainoo and Professional Boxer Of the Year - Joseph Agbeko. The rest are Hockey Player of the Year - Male - Joseph Appiah, Female – Mirable Lamptey, Hand Ball Player Of the Year – Rozina Lomo, Cyclist Of the Year – Afful Williams, with Daniel Arhin, Magaret Simpson and the Golden Sticks of Ghana Commercial Bank completing the list with special awards.
