Ghana's U-20 side, the Black Satellites failed to convincingly win their first leg of the final Africa Youth championship qualifier when they hosted the Young Scorpions at the Ohene Djan Stadium barely a fortnight ago.

Indeed, such is the daunting nature of the task that confronts the Ghanaians as they clash with their West African opponents in Banjul tomorrow.

But the Head Coach of the Satellites team, Sellas Tetteh is hoping against hope to pull a surprise in the return encounter on foreign land. It was the visitors who fetched the opener in the Accra derby, but the Ghanaians fought back relentlessly to cancel the lead and increase the tally by another goal.

And in his quest to ensure qualification, having missed the championship for close to four years, has beefed the squad with skipper Andre Dede Ayew, Rabiu Mohammed and others to at least pull a draw to make it to Rwanda next year.

What makes the tie dicey for the Ghanaians is that the home side needs just a goal to qualify for the youth championship.
