
QUARTEY PASSES FITNESS TEST South-Africa based defender,Jonathan Quartey, has shaken-off an ankle injury to rejoin the Black Stars squad for Saturday's 2010 joint Nations Cup/World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
Quartey sprained his ankle last week and was left out of head coach Milovan Rajevac final list of 22 released last week.
The 20-year-old has impressed since making his debut in a friendly international against Tanzania in Dar-Es-Salem.
He is expected to wrestle for a starting central defence role alongside John Boye, John Mensah and PSV's Eric Eddo.
Meanwhile,Saudi-based Prince Tagoe arrived in the country last night and he is likely to be joined by some more foreign-based stars tonight.
