After breaking the 100m and 200m world records this summer Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is now dreaming of another challenge - trying his hand at football by training alongside Real Madrid.
In an interview, the sprinter, who won three gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, not only proclaimed his support for Real Madrid, and in particular Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Raul, but also said he dreams of joining the stars for a coaching session.
“I hope they let me train with them one day. I say it in all seriousness,” he revealed.
In pledging his support for Los Blancos, Bolt joins an elite list of Real Madrid supporting sportsmen, including tennis players Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer as well as cyclists Carlos Sastre and Albeto Contador.
Along with Michael Phelps, who apparently idolises another Spaniard in the form of Rafael Nadal, Bolt was one of the stars of the Olympic Games, winning the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m and breaking the world record in each.
Real Madrid are currently preparing to begin the defence of their La Liga title against Deportivo this weekend after winning the Super Cup against Valencia a few days ago. Goal.com
