Enoch Tetteh Mensah edged out Osei Ampiah on a count-back of 73 net score to win this month’s Tema Country Golf Club Medal Open Championship played at Tema on Saturday.
Kwabena Boakye took the third position with a net score of 74 in the three-prized 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was sponsored by the Club with support from Forwin Ghana Limited.
The two prizes for the Ladies were taken by Grace Amoah who came first with 78 net score and Florence Etwi-Barimah who took the second position with 81 net score.
About 60 golfers participated in the event which was aimed at sharpening the strokes of golfers for a major competition.
Mr Donald Agumenu, Brands Manager of Forwin Ghana Limited, promised that the company would continue to support the Club in its developmental efforts.
The next major competition of the Club is the Tema Tigo Open Championship scheduled for September 5 to 7.
It would be sponsored by Millicom Ghana Limited.
