
John Mahama, running mate to the National Democratic Congress's Prof. J.E. Atta Mills in the upcoming general elections, has had an encounter with the President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Ackah Anthony.
The brief meeting at the offices of the Graphic Sports in Accra, was part of Mr Mahama's visit to the Graphic Communications Group Limited offices, to familiarise with the staff.
In a brief discussion, Mr Mahama agreed to a proposal from the SWAG President for a sports-related debate among all candidates in the general elections.
Mr Anthony said the SWAG would send a formal proposal to all the political parties for the expected debate on the candidates' views and projections for sports in the future.
