MTN Holds Soccer Fiesta Draw

THE FINAL draw of the MTN Soccer Fiesta Promotion was on Saturday held at a warm TV3 Studio in Accra during the 'Music Music' programme.

The draw, conducted in the presence of some music fans, saw the number, 0249553285 winning the ultimate prize of a brand new Sleek Jaguar car, followed by number 0245020028, the second prize winner of a 41 inch plasma TV, while MTN numbers 0242868147, 0246740979 and 0246741548 placed third, fourth and fifth respectively. Owners of the three numbers will each take home a 21-inch Television set. Other 45 subscribers who placed 6th to 50th positions will also win some prizes.

According to Clement Asante, Senior Manager of MTN, the draw was the phase two of Soccer Fiesta Promotion designed particularly to reward both existing and new MTN subscribers for their loyalty and support.

He revealed that all subscribers of MTN who bought units up to GH¢3 were automatically entered into a draw that could win any of the prizes during the draw.

He said the promotion was launched in connection with the just-ended 26th MTN Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana 2008, adding that as co-sponsors of the Black Stars, MTN presented an incentive bonus of 50,000 USD to the team just before their semi-final match.

The senior manger pointed out that although the Stars did not win the ultimate prize, MTN was still proud of the efforts the entire team put in the games and applauded their sterling performances.

“The first draw saw Mr. Imoro Kuntse winning the ultimate prize of a brand new Jaguar X that was presented to him and other 49 prizes were given to the deserving winners in a formal presentation ceremony at the MTN office at Osu in Accra,” he disclosed.
