Former junior national team star, Awudu Issaka is set to launch his local career with Liberty Professionals when the new season begins.
The player has begun training with Liberty at their Carl Reindorf training grounds and is hoping to hit good form before the league kicks off.
Issaka has not seen any active football action in the last two years after a torrid sojourn in Europe.
But he is hoping to revive his career with Liberty.
The Dansoman-based club have yet to conclude negotiations with the player on his move to the club.
