I LOVE THIS ARTICLE SO MUCH, AND THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS CAMPAINGN STRATEGY OF NDC, I CRIED FOR JOHN MAHAMA BECAUSE HIS SON IS MY VERY GOOD FRIEND. NDC, YOU GUYS WISH YOU DO HAVE POWER NOW, BUT BELIEVE ME YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED WITH YOUR APPRENTISHIP OF LEARNING THE TRADE FROM THE NPP. YOU SEE THE SAD SENERIO HERE IS YOU HAD A PROFESSOR IN YOUR TEAM BUT YOU FAILED MISERABLY HENCE YOU LOST POWER TO THE NPP, OR DO YOU WON'T TO SAY THE 2000 ELECTION WAS RIGGED IN FAVOUR OF THE NPP WHILES YOU WERE THE FOLKS IN GOVERNMENT? I WANT ALL WELL MEANING GHANAIANS TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION... HAVE ANYBODY READ THE NDC MANIFESTO? I HAVE .AND I CAN'T TELL ANYTHING DIFFERENT THE NDC WANT TO DO, THE NPP HAVEN'T ALREADY IMPLEMENTED AND TRYING TO IMPROVE ON IT... NOW, WHY DIDN'T THE NDC DO SAME WHEN THEY WERE IN POWER? THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE! BECAUSE THEY ARE IGNORANT! AM NOT PARTISAN BUT I BELIEVE IN PERFORMANCE AND I DO ALSO KNOW THERE IS ALWAYS A STARTING POINT! WHERE DID OR WHAT GROUNDS HAVE THE NDC GIVEN GHANAIANS FOR US TO BELIEVE IN THEM? PEOPLE DON'T LET OURSELVES BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED, THIS FOLKS HAVE NO IDEA IN GOVERNACE SO LET THEM TAKE THE BACK SEAT FOR NOW AND WE WILL CALL THEM IF WE NEED THEM! GOD BLESS GHANA!

Kobby, i like the points and the questions you have raised but have you also asked the NPP this questions;

1. Mr. Akufo Addo was a cabinet for close to seven years, what can he point to as his achievement?even in his small constituency where the road networks as well as infrastructural development as very poor?
i also heard he almost became the local MUGABE of Abuakwa just like Mike Oquaye and Hackman Owusu Agyepong who have gone back to fight and hijack their seats after obtaining lotto numbers in their congress, that was just by the way.

2.The Mr. Akufo Addo and the NPP promise in their manifesto, a railway extention to the north. Was this same promise not in Prez Kufuor s 2000/2004 manifetos, what stopped them from doing it? Is the NPP also not in power?

3. You also wrote about the NDC sidelining Hon. John Mahama. Lets look at John Mahama s vice presidency compared to Bawumia s vice presidency; Whiles Hon. Mahama is seen controlling a section of the NDC campaign team? Bawumia is rather being controlled by a section of NPP National Organizers. The only mamoth gathering i have seen Bawumia addressed was the Takoradi rally where he was shivering on stage like a cholera patient. No wonder his wife attracted attention than him.

4. Which forward is Mr. Akufo Addo taking us to? Is it in the same direction Prez Kufuor is taking us? Shopping malls and hotels for his relatives?

Use the tax payer s money for his personal foreign investment?
Order a Presidential jet which will be delivered in two years when his people are dieing of mere malaria and cholera?
Build Presidential palace when Ghanaians cant get a litre of water running in their taps a day?

Mr. Addo Danqua Akuffo and the NPP Addo are indeed confused, President Kufuor goes to Madina and says Ghana under Mr. Akufo Addo will attain middle income status by 2012, and Mr. Akufo Addo also goes round saying he would "move Ghana to a first class status" in his first term.

The NDC is promising "A bold and comprehensive measures to deal with the appaling filth in our communities by establishing a Sanitation Monitoring Commision to oversee and cordinate the sanitation problems with other stakeholders.

The NDC is also promising to Provide enough Vocational Institues to absorb JHS graduates who do nt gain admission inton SHS or Technical School.

Prof Mills further promises an established social order where crime, drug trade, and other social vices can be reduced.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED FROM A REALISTIC, HUMBLE, RESPECTED AND SELFLESS LEADER? PROF JOHN ATTA MILLS IS INDEED A LEADER GHANA CAN TRUST

Hi Mckyntosh, are you trying to compare the 2 governments or what? P/NDC was in power for 20 years, compared to the NPP's 8 years. The story is about NDC trying to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians with the Obama Slogan. That's rediculous. I'm also a little confused about the NDC associating themselves with the democratic party in the US. The 2 parties have nothing in common. The Democratic party in the USA is a liberal party. The P/NDC of Ghana is a tyranny party, not liberal or even conservative for that matter. Please stop this shameful analogy. it is pitiful. If Atta Mills' P/NDC has nothing to contribute to our dear nation they should just stay out and allow the serious minded parties do thier "thing". Peace
