THE TRUTH PROJECT | Ghana- (Location: United States) | 6/22/2008 5:07:00 AM This is an interesting news item. I have taken my time to read all the voicers comments. Many are failing to ask questions to enable them make critical inferences and to draw conclusions.
1.Why would a traditional priest throw a challenge to a contemporary christian priest?
2. Why would Rev. Adarkwa Yiadom suggest to Ghana Events organizers to organize "spiritual battle"?
3.Spiritual Battle to prove what?
4.Why would Nana Kweku Bonsam say it loud that he would have turn the christian pastor into a snake?
5. Why is it that everybody is condemning Nana Kweku Bonsam?

Well, there are many questions that will come to your mind as you keep reading the posting,however, I want people to be very objective in their analysis, else they will be bias in what they write and make an apology of intelligence discourse.
God is one, no doubt about that. He will be the same today and tomorrow. For a local priest to have the courage to accept a challenge from a so-called powerful pastor is news-worthy and need intelligent analysis not emotional condemnation. It is not a publicity stunts as many are saying. In our analysis of this, we dont need to divorce our national cultural realities from fantacies. Most Ghanaians are very religious and superstitious because of our cultural backgrounds. Witchcrafts,bad energies and all the principalities are energies that most Ghanaians battle everyday. This is the reason why many people are flocking the new charismatic churches and local shrine houses and other spiritual workers to have some of the spiritual problems ameliorated. Many of the so called pastors are taken advantage of the situation and are milking the people. Look around you whether in Ghana or abroad, the latest craze to make money is to found and form a church abroad. Most pastors who can afford buy airtime on an internet radio and they are millionaires overnight because of the vulnerability of the listening public and the realities of the Ghanaian culture.
The world is coming to an end by our own vices, and we need to examine our lives to see what is wrong with all of us.
Everything in the news is about faith. We cannot condemn Nana Kweku Bonsam or Adarkwa Yiadom but to check our own lives and see if we are HONEST enough to THROW stones at them. Remember we all live in a grass house.
