Ghana's mPedigree System Shortlisted for Major International Award

Inquiries at the Ministry of Health confirmed that the Ministry was aware of the platform technology and has given all necessary support till date including a showcasing of its benefits to all stakeholders in the sector in a meeting in June of this year.
The organisation that selected the mPedigree Technology Platform for the award is the Institution of Engineering & Technology, based in the United Kingdom.The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is a world leading professional organisation working to develop science, engineering and technology. It dates from 1871 and has more than 150,000 members in 127 countries with offices in Europe, North Americaand Asia-Pacific. It provides a global knowledge network to facilitate the exchange of
information.
Commenting about the shortlisted candidates, the IET said: They represent a unique opportunity for industry
innovators to be recognised and provide a showcase for the brightest ideas, highlighting the importance of innovation by celebrating its application across a range of engineering disciplines.
