NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
As the dust tries to settle on whether or not the NPP chairman is one and the same Peter McManu who seems to have a criminal record in the USA, we are learning of the presence of one Kofi Smiles, an ex-convict who served time in Britain for stealing someone's identity, as the latest addition to the Nana Akuffo Addo's faltering campaign.

Kofi Smiles, a Kwahu man with a stolen name, who was implicated in the Agyeman Berko-Social Security Bank fraud case in the late 1980S is reported to have joined the Nana Addo fundraising team and has already made several trips to some West African countries ostensibly to use his criminal contacts to raise money for Nana.In mid June, Smiles was spotted at the Accra airport in the company of some NPP big-wigs enroute to Nigeria to haul funds for Nana.

Kofi Smiles lived lavishly and earned a bad reputation as a wife snatcher in London but when his real identity was about to be blown, sought refuge in the United States in the early 1990s but was eventually captured by the police, tried and sentenced. Those of us who knew him in London and visited his compound saw the posh cars acquired with illgotten wealth assembled in his compound. He is now back in Ghana and trying to weave his way to the corridors of power. He has been spotted at NPP rallies with his barrel-size pot-belly shouting the loudest and stretching the farthest to catch attention.

Nana, we fought so hard for your election! Please weed such characters out of your campaign!
