Supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have reportedly launched into a brutal clash at Hohoe in the Volta Region.

Several people have sustained life-threatening injuries with property worth millions of Ghana cedis destroyed.

The police are said to be on hand to restore order. At least two persons have been arrested.
