NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
President John Agyekum Kufuor leaves Accra on Saturday for Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, to attend the Eleventh Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly from June 30 to July 1 2008.

A press release signed by Andrew Awuni, Press Secretary to the President and Presidential Spokesman, said the Summit would be President Kufuor's last opportunity to thank his colleagues and bid them farewell.

The Summit would focus on “Meeting the Millennium Development Goals on Water and Sanitation” and would be preceded by the 19th Summit of the Heads
of State and Government Implementation Committee on the African Peer Review Mechanism.

The statement said a number of countries, including Nigeria and Kenya,
were billed to be peer-reviewed at the summit. Togo would also sign on for future review.

It said other items on the agenda were the issue of Union Government
for Africa, global food and fuel crisis and the current electoral impasse
in Zimbabwe.

The President is expected back home on Wednesday July 2, 2008.
