The weather would be cloudy over the country with mist or fog patches and light rain showers over sheltered areas and parts of the coast this morning.
A statement from Ghana Meteorological Agency on Friday said there would be sunny periods in the afternoon but thunderstorms would occur over forest and high grounds of the south which would affect parts of the coast and areas around the Volta Lake.
It said Northern Ghana would experience sunny periods with slightly windy conditions in the afternoon and isolated thunderstorms over places towards the evening.
Maximum and Minimum temperatures in degrees Celsius during the period are as follows: Coastal areas, between 31 and 24, Middle sector, between 32 and 23, and the Northern sector, between 34 and 24.
