The newly created Bosome-Freho District Assembly has approved GH¢1.144 million to complete some projects, which were not completed by the former assembly.
The Bosome-Freho District Assembly was recently carved out from the Amansie East District Assembly.
The uncompleted projects include classroom blocks, a dinning hall and a dormitory for Asiwa Senior Secondary/Technical School and a clinic at Nsuta.
Mr Gabriel Yaw Amoah, District Chief Executive, told the GNA at Asiwa in Ashanti at the weekend.
He said part of the amount would also be used to construct an administration block and staff quarters for the assembly.
The DCE said the assembly would give priority to education, health, sanitation and others to ensure the development of the district.
He urged the revenue staff to intensify their collections to generate more funds for the assembly for development projects, whiles also appealing to the people to honour their tax obligations.
He urged the assembly members to educate the people on the need to initiate self-help projects in their communities for the assembly to support it to enhance their living conditions.
