The Daily Graphic lauds governments decision to re-engage Vodafone based on the recommendations of the committee it set up to review the sale and purchase agreement between Vodafone and the government. Certain controversial aspects of the deal including national fibre optic facility, Ghana Telecom University College, landed and other property of the erstwhile Ghana Telecom will form the basis for the re-engagement.
According to the Graphic, the government will look more closely at the operations of Ghana telecom, particularly the huge debt it accumulated before the deal to help determine its geniuses or otherwise.
This move to the paper is a fulfillment of an electoral promise by the NDC to take a second look at the GT-Vodafone deal when it comes to power. The Daily Graphic sees this as a way forward towards deepening democracy and promoting national interest.

It says Ghanaians woke up to hear very say news of a fire outbreak at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Co-operation. The paper calls the arrest of some three officers of the ministry who are helping to unravel the cause of the fire outbreak.
The Independent together with thousands of Ghanaians say sorry to all those who might have been affected in one way or the other, most especially the government of Ghana that has lost very valuable document and information
