Osu, Accra, Ghana – July 21, 2009 -- On the heels of President Obama's visit to Ghana, Laserfiche will be visiting Ghana next month to train organizations on the use of electronic paperless technology, which will not only address the need to create cost-savings and efficient business processes, but will also address the call for good governance and rule of law that the leaders of both countries want to promote.

The training will take place August 18 - 21 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Osu, Accra. We will be teaching people how to scan and manage large volumes of paper records using products like Quick Fields and Workflow, which automate the indexing, filing, approval and routing that would have previously been carried out manually.

“Laserfiche Records Management Edition, Quick Fields, Workflow, and WebLink will work beautifully in helping us to create an efficient digital infrastructure for land administration as we deal with large volumes of data,” said Laserfiche user Dr. W. Odame Larbi, Project Director for Ministry of Lands, Forestry and Mines.

“Once documents are automated, organizations in healthcare, education, government, and just about any industry that has paper-intensive work will benefit from this type of technology,” said Joseph Amoh-Anti, founder of Josanti InfoImaging Ltd., the Laserfiche value-added reseller in Ghana. “We plan to show attendees how to efficiently design, install and maintain a Laserfiche system and how to make the best use of the tools provided.”
